- The problem I have is not so much with wealthy individuals and taxes but with corporations and taxes. I, for the life of me, can't see why a conglomerate such as GE can pay little or no taxes legally while my puny salary is taxed at a 30% marginal tax rate.

- Has anyone taken a look at the old farts that are in Congress, or even their local state governments? Clearly, since Federally pot is illegal, the STILL consider it a "gateway" drug to heroin, barbiturates, methamphetamines, and bathtub drugs like Special K, meth, and crack.

- Several things come to mind here. First, I was mildly dogged for insisting that gold was a wise investment, especially because after I invested in it, Glenn Beck started in on it. I got in at $400.00 and ounce and bought 12 ounces. Gold was up, according to the article, about $48.00 per ounce.

- @Ebaneezer - I was going to point out the major glaring flaw of your post however I was beaten to it. The only tax change that I'm aware of that's currently being held under consideration is cutting off the tax holiday which means that you're payroll tax, as well as mine, will go up.
